In May, the IBS Center for Climate Physics (ICCP) signed a Collaboration Agreement with the University of Bergen to take part in the Advanced Climate Education and Research (ACER) project. ACER is an international collaborative effort to promote world-class climate research and education. Scientists participating in this project are from the University of Bergen (Norway), Harvard University (USA), Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (USA), Scripps Institution of Oceanography (USA), the University of Texas at Austin (USA), McGill University (Canada), and the IBS Center for Climate Physics (South Korea).

ACER will build a research network to promote the international exchange of young and upcoming climate researchers in these countries through summer schools and longer-term lab visits.
