Interactions between land and atmosphere play a crucial role in our weather and climate systems through energy and water cycles. However, the specifics of how land interacts with the atmosphere remain debated. For example, whether precipitation is more likely to occur over wet or dry soil is still an open question. This uncertainty arises from the bias in land and atmospheric components of models.
