Axel Timmermann, Director of the IBS Center for Climate Physics at Pusan National University, has been added to this year’s Clarivate Analytics list of Highly Cited Researchers. This list identifies scholars whose publications are in the top 1% citations by their peers during the last decade. This is the second consecutive year that Dr. Timmermann has received this recognition in the ‘cross-field’ category, which selects scientific accomplishments that influence a variety of fields.
Dr. Timmermann has published and co-authored over 170 peer-reviewed articles in scientific journals including 9 in Nature. His work has been cited more than 17,000 times (Google Scholar).
