2019 Unjae Academy Award from Korean Meteorological Society (KMS)

ICCP scientists attended the Korean Meteorological Society Fall Meeting in Gyeongju, South Korea, from Oct. 30 ~ Nov. 1. They presented and discussed their latest work on tornados, Antarctic ice-sheet melting, sea level rise and forest fires.

Kyung-Ja Ha, professor at Pusan National University and the IBS Center for Climate Physics (ICCP) received the ‘Unjae Academy Award’ from 2019 KMS on Oct. 30. This award is bestowed upon a scientist in recognition of high academic contribution to the field of meteorology.  Congratulations Kyung-Ja!
