Julia language has been in development since 2012 and saw its first stable version in 2018.
It is already among the most popular and fastest growing programming languages, specially in numerical and scientific domain.
In this talk, I will introduce the Julia language and its advantages for scientific computing.
Then, there will be a hands-on tutorial in using Julia and the Agents. jl package for building, running, and analyzing agent-based models.
