Air pollution is among the top contributors to the Global Burden of Disease. Communities are exposed to varying levels of air pollution, leading to health inequities. How do we evaluate air pollution disparities? And what are some knowledge gaps to advance this research area? This talk covers recent projects involving low-cost sensors and satellite remote sensing to understand air pollution disparities and consequent health inequities. Through this research, I aim to identify strategies for advancing environmental justice.
