Dates: 17 – 19 Feb, 2021
The ICCP will be hosting the 2nd stage of an online workshop on early results with the 100-member CESM2 Large Ensemble simulations over three days (Feb 17-19 2021). Approximately 30 participants have been invited to contribute to the scientific program through early access to the CESM2 Large Ensemble output. The CESM2 Large Ensemble itself represents a partnership between the ICCP in Busan and CESM and NCAR-affiliated scientists. Underway research topics span a broad range of topics including extreme events, climate dynamics, global biogeochemistry, and abrupt climate change. The principal goal of the Workshop is to facilitate novel research endeavors through coordinate early-access to the CESM2 LE output, and to promote simultaneously capacity building through the entrainment of early career scientists. The Workshop is comprised of oral presentations and extended discussions over the span of three days.
The workshop organizers are Keith Rodgers, Senior Research Fellow at the ICCP (krodgers@pusan.ac.kr) and Malte Stuecker, Assistant Professor at the University of Hawaiiʻ at Mānoa (stuecker@hawaii.edu).
*This workshop can be participated by invitation only
