There are two openings for postdoctoral fellows at IBS Center for Climate Physics to work with Dr. Christian Franzke on the dynamical response of the atmosphere to global warming, modeling of extreme weather and climate events and how they will change in a warmer world, the estimation and modeling of socio-economic damages due to weather and climate extreme events and global warming. The successful candidates will carry out and analyze CESM simulations, analyze data sets using modern statistical and machine learning methods, and will develop new numerical models.
